Happy Birthday, dear Dad/Grandad!
It's Marla and Lenis best grandads birthday. We miss you John. We trust you had a lovely day. Leni was celebrating in style.
Marla spend [after a visit to the doctor] most of the remaining day on the sofa sleeping and watching some Pingu videos Onkel Ube had given to her. What I had falsely suspected to be german measles, had turned into an ear infection.
Yesterday afternoon: Roundwood Lodge, then a visit from Michael. Marla took a picture. Btw, you've left your sunglasses.
oh, and: Tumbleweed to order via haddock.

Having operator probs with this 'comment' thingo as it doen't seem to like the tab key or to preveiw without losing the whole msg. Anyway, one more go....sounds as though it nice and warm there....swimming pools???
Sent Grandad a copy of Sgt. Peppers with every other song 'When I'm 64' for his birthday and a bit of a chuckle. Hope to go to the nth coast in the next couple of weeks for a visit. They're in Brissy this weekend for the theatre and no doubt a bit of debauchery.
Things are moving along here...palm trees are gone and the plans are due back early in the week from the draftsman for the ext. Then it's get some costings (shudder, shudder) and organize a builder for the main event. Everything should be well and truly in a mess after the plans are approved by council.
Have only sharpened about 50 bits (lots more to go) but new toy is a treat. Need any holes? ;-))))
S has a new toy as well...lg. screen TV and DVD player. Does it make sense to have to buy a new TV etc just to play the 4 $5 DVD's we picked up in Bangkok? Sumpin' wrong here! She's a bit like Marla now, hard to get her away from the tellie, even to eat!! Even asked if she could move the potty next to the TV!!!!!
